Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
If your shyness is an obstacle to do what you really want to do in your life and to communicate better with people, you have to do the first step: learn to observe yourself like you are someone else witnessing your acts.
Step2
People are much more charming and interesting to others when they act in their natural way. You can express better yourself and show your abilities to think and speak, when you know that there is nothing to be shy about. Shyness might be genetically transformed to and you can overcome it.
Step3
Think about yourself how charming person you are and train at home your best way to behave and to speak with people. Start spending any free minute to dance at home on your favorite music and sing along with the music.
Step4
The more content you are from yourself, the less shy you feel. Start achieving your goals step by step. If you don't have some goals, think about something you want to accomplish: classes, doing something good for someone, traveling somewhere, writing something, etc.

on 11/7/2007 Sometimes shyness is confused with introversion...introverts are okay with others doing most of the talking but when a subject they are passionate about comes up, watch out, they will talk your ear off. Great article...I have 3 shy kids. :)
