All kids like sidewalk chalk. I know mine do. Heck, I like sidewalk chalk. Here is a very easy way to make it. It is simple enough that kids can do it too!!!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Plaster of Paris
  • Powdered Tempera Paint
  • Water
  • Molds (one or all of these will be fine. toilet paper roll, paper cups, egg cartons, etc.)
Step1
Make sure you've got your mold handy. Mix together one cup of plaster with one cup of water.
Step2
Add the powdered tempera paint for color. Blend well and let stand for a few minutes.
Step3
Pour your mixture into the molds you chose. Set aside and let dry completely. Set it aside to dry for approximately 24 hours more.
Step4
Once dry you can remove your chalk from the mold. Take your chalk outside and create fun masterpieces!

Enjoy!
