How to Do The HD Setup Wizard On Time Warner Cable' s HD Box

Are you a customer of Time Warner Cable? Do you sometimes have a black & white picture and your television' s settings are OK? Read here on how to do the HD Set-Up Wizard to start watching TV in HD format.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• High Defintion TV
• TWC HD/DVR Combo Box
• TWC HD/DVR Remote Control

1. Turn OFF your HD/DVR box
2. Turn ON your HD television
3. On the front of the box, look for the "info" and "guide" buttons.
4. Press "info" and "guide" at the same time until you see instructions pop up on your tv screen
5. When you see these instructions, let go of the buttons
6. Follow the on-screen instructions on how to set up your box to display pictures in the HD (1080i) picture format. You will need your remote control handy.

Tips & Warnings

• Have your remote control ready after following step 5
• If your box is low, sit a chair in front of your tv & box
• There will be a total of 4 on-screen steps to follow using your remote
• If you are not too familiar with High Definition formats, be sure to do the "easy set-up" when prompted.
