When making crafts with toddlers I always look for something easy and interactive. I love these witch hats because the kids can wear them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Black or purple construction paper
  • stickers
  • glitter
  • glue
  • tape

Step1
Use a big piece of construction paper and cut out a triangle with the kids while talking to them about shapes. Be sure that it's a piece small enough to match their head because they will eventually be wearing them.
Step2
Cut out another piece for the bottom of the hat and glue, tape or staple it on the hat.
Step3
Now you will want to cut a thin strip of paper large enough to fit around their head and tape it to the back of the hat.
Step4
Voila! Your child has a cute little witch hat which they will want to decorate with glitter and stickers. (What child doesn't love stickers?)Happy Halloween!
