So many of us seem to do it. we overindulge during the holiday season only to struggle losing the weight after its all over. Here are some simple steps to avoid weight gain during the holidays.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • The only thing you need is a little common sense.

Step1
Holiday parties are easy to manuever if it's a mix and mingle atmosphere. Have a taste of everything if you want but don't have seconds of anything. Go for the vegetable tray rather than the fried wontons.
Step2
Alcohol is loaded with calories and we all want to be safe for the Holidays so if you drink alcohol take sips and make it last longer. Alternate a glass of water in between festive beverages. It will help keep you hydrated and you are less likely to have a hangover the next morning. Water also fills you up so you eat less.
Step3
Holiday dinner at the relatives doesn't mean you have to stuff yourself with rich food. If it's a potluck then bring a veggie tray so that you can fill up with less calories. Take a little of everything if you want but portion control is the key here. Once again drink some water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose veggies over rich food whenever possible.
  • Drink water
  • DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND DRIVE!
