How to make an herbal rinse for oily hair

Yarrow and lavender are astringents and can help to reduce your hair's oiliness.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 T dried yarrow
  • 2 T dried lavender
  • 2 T dried peppermint
  • 2 c water
  • 2 T apple cider vinegar
  1. Step 1

    Bring the herbs and water to boil in a covered pot. Steep until cool.

  2. Step 2

    Strain, pour into a clean container and add the vinegar. Shake well.

  3. Step 3

    Pour 1/2 cup of rinse through your hair after shampooing. This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
