This is the easiest, fastest, most delicious fudge recipe I've found!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large microwave-safe bowl
  • 8x8 greased pan
  • Spoon, measuring cup/spoons
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar (Iuse Splenda)
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/4 c. milk (skim is fine)
  • 1 stick butter (I Can't Believe is fine)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla (I like to mix it up, 1 t.raspberry, orange,or almond, & 1t. vanilla)
  1. Step 1

    Spray or grease 8x8 pan.
Combine cocoa and sugar , mixing well in bowl.

  2. Step 2

Make a well in center of sugar mix and place butter (I chop into 3 pieces), and milk in center, not touching sides or bottom of bowl.

  3. Step 3

Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, till bubbly/boiling. * Remove and add flavoring, then stir until well blended and smooth. Add 1/2c. nuts here if you want nuts.

  4. Step 4

    * Pour in pan and refrigerate or freeze until set, usually a couple of hrs. Cut into squares after about 1 hr., when half set.
    * Enjoy! MMMMM!

Tips & Warnings
  • The longer you stir it the smoother it becomes. Try different flavors - raspberry is my favorite.
  • Take care when removing from microwave and stirring-it will be hot, but the sides are cool because the heated liquid is in the center.

on 1/7/2008 Sounds yummy. Any way that this would work using non-dairy ingrediants such as margarine and soy milk? I love the idea about adding different flavorings.
