Your dog is filthy and you don't feel like standing in the yard washing him with the hose. You get wet, your clothes get soaked, your back gets bent over, your dog is miserable cause it's cold out. Might as well jump in the shower and bring Spot with you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Dig shampoo
  • Dog towels
  • Shower massager
Step1
The best shower stall to use with your dog is one whose shower head has a handheld shower massager on an extended cord.
Step2
Bring your dog into the bathroom. Lay a few dog towels on the floor to protect your floor. Turn on the shower until it's hot. Undress.
Step3
Get in the shower, talking happily with your dog while pulling him in gently by the collar. Chances are he won't be thrilled.
Step4
Using the shower massager, rinse him down. If you don't have a shower massager, use a cup to fill up water.
Step5
Add soap, rub soap in until the dog is frothy. Avoid getting in his eyes. Rinse dog. Squeeze out excess water down his back and legs.
Step6
Wash yourself, especially getting all the dog hair off your arms and legs. Turn off water. Let dog out of shower, putting a towel on top of him. Dry him thoroughly. Get a towel for yourself!
