How to make a Quick and Easy Mexican Side Dish (Poblano Pepper)!

The Poblano Pepper is a traditional pepper used in many Mexican dishes. The Poblano pepper is a mild in taste and a dark green colored pepper. This is surely to be in a hit at any Mexican theme dinner or dinner party!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Poblano peppers is 4 servings so buy what you need for how many people you plan to serve.
  • Mexican shredded cheese
  • Baking sheet
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Wash Poblano pepper thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

    Cut pepper into half, clean and discard the insides of both sides.

  4. Step 4

    Lay peppers on baking pan and fill the hollowed out part with Mexican cheese.

  5. Step 5

    Place stuffed peppers in pre heated oven for 25-30 minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Remove peppers and let cool for 5 minutes.

  7. Step 7

    Serve and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add as little and as much cheese as you desire.
  • These peppers are not hot so if your kids are into Mexican food they will most likely love this side dish!
  • Be sure when you buy your Poblano pepper you pick up the right pepper.
