Would you like to make potato salad the old fashion way? Potato salad that everyone will be asking for your receipe? Here's how.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Potatoes
  • Eggs
  • Miracle Whip (mayo)
  • Celery Seeds
  • a little mustard (Frenchs)
  • Paparika
  • Chopped Onions (optional)
  1. Step 1

Peel potatoes and place in a pot to boil. You want the potatoes to get semi-soft, but not so soft that you can make mashed potatoes out of them. You also don't want them to be so hard that they crunch either. Cook until medium soft.

  2. Step 2

Place eggs in either the same pot as the potatoes or in a separate pot (depending on how much potatoes are already in the pot). Boil the eggs hard.

  3. Step 3

Place potatoes and the miracle whip in large bowl and mix together. Peel eggs and cut up in the same bowl. Use 3/4 of a teaspoon of mustard.

  4. Step 4

Once everything is mixed add the onions (optional) and celery seeds. Cut up remaining eggs and place on top of the salad, then garnish with paparika.

Tips & Warnings
  • don't skimp on the use of eggs.
  • don't use too much or to little mayo (according to taste and texture).
  • don't use too much mustard, you don't want the taste to overcome the overall taste of your salad.
