Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Determination
- A Positive mind set
Step1
1.Get up! This is a crucial step for any lifestyle adjustment! Now, let's take a look in those kitchen cabinets and that refrigerator! What do you see? Ahhh, and let's not forget the midnight snack drawer or the office desk candy free for all bowl!
2.Pick up some of the items and look at the calories they contain and get that number lower(we'll show you how in the next step!). It's even important to look at how much fiber and protein we're taking in. Why? While in moderation these things are healthy for the body, if we are not putting out more energy than we're taking in, these things can really pack on the bulk if you know what i mean! And listen to this! 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil equals 120 calories. 1 tbsp. of sugar equals 45 calories. We haven't even gotten our day started yet! Even just 1 oz. of very lean meat equals 35 calories!
3.Vegetarians are not excluded because that olive oil itself is enough to throw you over the top! The fat in our bodies represents 3,500 calories per day. If we expend in energy atleast 4,000 calories per day we're already started on a great lifestyle run! In truth,To be successful, you will have to be determined to cut down on those snack attacks! You can do it!
Step2
1.Time to get groceries! Make a list of things you normally buy.
2.When you get to the grocery store choose similar items with less calories and saturated fat. This is the really easy step because you just look and compare the numbers!
3.Then promise yourself to try 2 new healthy items each week! There are many different and exotic vegetables and fruits! Dive right in!
Step3
Eat! Now we know this sounds funny for this next step, but to get that metabolism running faster you must eat smaller and more frequent meals. You can have the things you love, but the key word is MODERATION.
Step4
Lastly, let's get moving! Drink lots of water and then squeeze your buns in your seat,or take the steps for exercise if you work at a desk.
2.Walk up and down the steps 10 times or walk around the block if you work at home.
3.And if you're disabled like me, just move anything you can move for however long you can! That, my dear people, is how you go on a lifestyle instead of a diet!
