Are you looking for ideas for quick ready-prepared breakfast? What about a healthy snack for when time is running short? Here is a simple way to make your own cereal bar at a fraction of the cost of store-bought bars.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bag of marshmallows
  • Crispy cereal of choice
  • 1 tb butter
  1. Step 1

    Melt butter in a large pot. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted.

  2. Step 2

    Quickly stir in about 4 cups of cereal - coating it thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

    Scrape into a 8x8 buttered square pan. Press down quickly with back of lightly buttered large spoon.

  4. Step 4

    After cooling to room temperature, cut with a sharp knife into squares. Serve or wrap individual pieces with plastic wrap. Makes about 16 squares.
