When hair is dry, the outer layers of the hair referred to as cuticles, peel off from the central shaft and the hair can begin to break and become unhealthy.

It is vital to keep the hair conditioned and moisturized. Conditioners bring the cuticles and the shaft back together; adding lubrication to the shaft of the hair and creating healthier and more vibrant hair.
