This article will explain the way to find tickets to concerts that are listed as being sold out.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • internet access
  1. Step 1

Find out the date of the concert. For example, if the show you want to see is on December 1st, make note of that date and write a note to yourself about two weeks before the show, reminding yourself it is coming up soon.

  2. Step 2

About two weeks before the show, go online to ticketmaster and check for any available tickets. You may get lucky already and find extra tickets that have been released.

  3. Step 3

If no tickets were avaialable, keep checking periodically up until the two days before the show, not including the show. Almost all shows release last minute tickets during that 2 day period before the show. I have gotten tickets to see U2 on multiple occassions this way, as well as Snow Patrol, and this has been in big cities such as New York and Los Angeles. It almost always works. Good luck!

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep trying. If you really want to see the show, it can be very frustrating
  • There is no way to guarantee they will release tickets, but wait to buy from scalpers until you have tried this because you can save yourself a lot of money and end up with better seats.
