Having a clean home does wonders for relieving everyday stress. You can learn to reduce your stress levels by simply doing your housework.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Those with clutter homes spend much frustrated time looking for ‘things’ that they need. This happens on a daily basis, they lose their keys, can’t find their important mail, etc. Clear the clutter to decrease these stressors.
Step2
Running around the house cleaning is exercise, which is a known stress reducer. Vary your housework activities to include going up and down steps or carrying objects to maximize on the benefits.
Step3
If you look at the principles of Feng Shui, you will see that a dirty home and clutter will drain you of positive energy. As you clean and de-clutter, this positive energy comes back.
Step4
Cleaning your home will give you a sense of accomplishment, which boosts your morale and reduces your stress levels.
Step5
The more you organize your living space, the more you will want to be there and enjoy it as a stress reducer instead of being the stressor.
