How to apply for, and get a good job

Things You'll Need:

  • Resume
  • Phone
  • Email
  1. Step 1

    Prepare a list of question about the particular job.

  2. Step 2

    Call and ask those questions (unless the job posting specifically says "do not contact").

  3. Step 3

    Submit your resume via fax or email.

  4. Step 4

    Wait a few days.

  5. Step 5

    Follow up on resume submission with a phone call. (Note: Do not follow up with phone call if you have previously called and asked questions).

  6. Step 6

    Perform well at your interview.

  7. Step 7

    Follow up with an email thanking the company/interviewers for their time and consideration.

  8. Step 8

    Start working.

  • There are a lot of interviewees, and the goal is to stand out
  • Try not to be annoying
