Sure, makeup can help, but so can a potato.

You have those puffy, ugly bags under your eyes again. Wait, do you have a potato? Slice it up.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • raw potato
  • knife
  • water
  1. Step 1

Slice a potato into sections so that it is large enough in diameter to cover your entire eye area.

  2. Step 2

Slice the potato section into very thin slices. You can cut the potato into a thicker slice, but I find that thinner slices can contour to the eye area more easily.

  3. Step 3

Mist you eye area with tepid water. Take five or so thin slices (or one thick slice) and place them over your eyes. Let them rest for ten to fifteen minutes. Think happy, relaxing thoughts. Take the slices off, and wash your face. Use some nice creamy moisturizer, and you're done. try this a couple of times a week for best results.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have smaller potatoes and subsequent slices, fan them out slighter to cover more area. Fanning them also makes them more comfortable on the eye area.
  • Obviously, if you experience discomfort or any other adverse reactions to the potato slices, discontinue use and wash your face.

on 5/19/2008 Hi,
I used to get bags under my eyes all the time mostly due to my inability to fall asleep quickly. I would stay up late thinking about something then wake up early next morning only to see little bags under my eyes. I somehow managed to kick the habit of staying up late but my eye bags wouldn't go away.I then recently read an article about a woman who supposedly got rid of her eye bags using a particular eye care product. I tried it and it worked really well. I got rid of my eye bags in 2 weeks. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below
