Wedding Favors are not only expensive but finding a wedding favor that is unique can be a challenge. Making a personalized wedding favor for your guests is a great alternative because they are affordable, easy and guests can actually put them to use instead of most favors that either end up in the trash or collect dust in a closet.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Card Stock in a color of your choice
  • Calligraphy pen
  • Decorative hole punch
  • Silk ribbon in color of your choice
Step1
These are fun and easy to make. Choose card stock and ribbon to color coordinate with your wedding colors. Cut the card stock that you can purchase at either a craft or office supply store into rectangular shapes approximately 2" x 5".
Step2
Use a decorative hole punch to make holes at the top of the card stock. Hole punches are sold in all kinds of shapes and sizes including pretty flower and leaf shapes.
Step3
Tie a knot with a small piece of silk ribbon at the top of the bookmark where you made the hole with the hole punch.
Step4
Take a calligraphy pen and write the couple's name and wedding date on the front of the bookmark. If you are not comfortable with writing calligraphy you can take a class to learn, check out a book from the library and practice on your own or enlist the help of a friend who has excellent penmanship.
