How to Decorate a Cake Like a Serial Killer

After you’ve decorated a cake a few times it can become a bit of a bore. So to spice things up, why not decorate a cake like a serial killer? This allows you to show your artistic side while still making a yummy treat that everyone can enjoy.

• Decorating Bag

1. Apply a solid coat of icing to use as your foundation.

2. Pick a writing tip for your decorating bag and write out, “Die, (Birthday person’s name), die” in pink frosting.

3. Use fondant to make a ransom note.

4. Add blood red piping around the outside.

5. To add a little flair, add a flare for a candle. Watch as someone tries to blow it out!

• Make diabetic cookies for those that can’t have cake.

on 12/5/2007 Ok that was a little over the top but I way have a friend I could see doing it....splashing red gel over the top or adding chalk outlines. It takes a fun spirit to keep things like this fresh, no one wants to make sheet cakes for the rest of their lives.
