Never be afraid to work with different mediums and textures when you are putting your scrapbook pages together. Example: If there is a piece of school work that has to do with geography, don't be afraid to use stressed pieces of an atlas or even papers and items to resemble mountains, etc. You may be amazed at just how creative you can be once you start working on such a project.
Tips & Warnings
Make sure to use photo-safe papers and embellishments if you are going to be placing pictures anywhere on your scrapbook pages. This will help to keep them from fading or discoloring over time.
Don't be afraid to add different textures and items that you may find around your house to bring the pages to life.
Ask your children for their help and input while you are archiving their school work in scrapbook form. This can only lead to more cherished memories for each piece of the book!
