How to Make Sausage Biscuts and Gravy.

Sausage Biscuts and Gravy can you think of a heartier breakfast than that? I am going to show you the easiest way of making this breakfast when it looks like you spent hours on it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1lb pre packaged sausage
  • 1 can ready to use biscuts grands or buttery are the best
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 2 1/2 cups of milk
  • pepper

Step1
First pre heat your oven in accordance to the directions on your biscuit can. Follow the directions on cooking your biscuits.
Step2
In a large deep pan cook your sausage on medium heat until fully browned. It should be 160 degrees F or until it is no longer pink.
Step3
Add your 2 cups of milk to the sausage. Stirring occasionally.
Step4
In a separate bowl mix in the 1/2 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of milk. Mix until smooth.
Step5
When milk has come to a boil, reduce heat and stir in your flour and milk mixture. Stir until you reach your desired consistency.
Step6
Split one of your biscuits in two and pour sausage gravy over your halves. Sprinkle pepper to taste and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • If gravy is too thick add more milk if it's too thin mix more milk and flour together and add little by little until right consistency.
  • For a zestier taste use Hot Sausage or Sage Sausage.
  • Try Homemade Biscuits or simply Texas Toast.
  • Use Turkey Sausage for a leaner meal.
  • Gravy will be hot eat with caution.
