Get a Letter From Santa

Writing a letter to Santa has always been fun, though the only response was the slew of gifts you got (or didn’t get) on Christmas morning. Santamail.org offers a simple, easy way to guarantee that your child gets something back from Santa. It's basically a website that allows you to choose from several different personalized options that make the act of gift-giving more exciting for both parent and child.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer/Internet
  1. Step 1

Go to Santamail.org. Click on the price (“$9.95”) tag with the dancing lights and fill in your basic information: Name, address, phone number, credit card, all that good stuff.

  2. Step 2

Fill out your child’s information. This is great because it personalizes the the Santa letters your kids will receive. You can even specify different kinds of letters, according to religious preference (Christian/traditional), as well as different styles and clever details about the hi-jinks and tomfoolery in Santa’s workshop.

  3. Step 3

Next, type in the address information of your child. If your child is away from home, no problem. All you have to do is enter the address and specify the location, and he or she will receive it.

  4. Step 4
A postcard, one of the personalized options you can add to your order.

Add other personalized items to your order. For instance, you can send an additional postcard and a certificate congratulating your child on his or her good behavior. You can add additional cards as well.

  5. Step 5
An example of the postcard from Santa your child will receive.

Choose to send an After-Christmas postcard, with Santa lazily relaxing in the sun after a hard night's work.

  6. Step 6

Go all out and get the professional-looking "Santa Was Here" Kit, which includes some really cool stuff ("sleigh ID", reindeer hoof for making food prints, a swatch of Santa's coat, reindeer food and a thank-you card for the snack plate) that makes it look as though Santa was really there.

  7. Step 7

Have fun. Christmas should still bring out the kid in all of us.

on 12/6/2007 I sent letters to my younger sisters from the Santa Mail website. They are grown, but the letters were a fun novelty gift. It really was a nice touch to have the postmark from North Pole, Alaska! :)
I recommend it!

on 12/6/2007 This gave me great ideas of some fun things I can do myself, and it's neat to know there is somewhere to get a fun kit with reindeer prints and all that. How fun.
