Things You'll Need:
- decorated cookies and cupcakes
- green tablecloth, napkins and paper plates
- coffee cups
- tumbler cups
- coffee
- whiskey
- creme de mint
- whipped cream
- wine or beer
- decorations
-
Step 1
Set up a conference room or gathering area with tablecloths, plates, napkins, cups, etc.
-
Step 2
Put out platters of decorated cookies, cupcakes and whatever other festive food you feel fits the party. You can get cookies in the shape of shamrocks and such at most grocery stores.
-
Step 3
Set up a tub of ice with beer and white wine to chill.
-
Step 4
To prepare Irish coffee, brew 3/4 of a pot and then top it off with whiskey. Use your own discretion on how strong you want it to be. Brew a second pot to be ready when the first runs out.
-
Step 5
On a table apart from the tub of ice, set up a hot pad and place your coffee in a place it won't get knocked over. If possible, have an employee there to serve, adding whipped cream and crème de mint for a green tint on top.
-
Step 6
Circulate around the room, enjoying the festivities and creating a pleasant work habitat!

on 2/15/2008 There are a million ways to spice up St. Patricks day in the office...here are a few tips. Make a contest out of it and give away prizes for the greenist outfit, the best Irish accent, who can do the jig the longest, etc. Or better yet, put a play on words and make the day a real "green" day and encourage everyone to ride their bike to work, or take public transportation, recycle, pack a lunch, etc. You get the idea...now get the party started!
