Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Tips & Warnings:
- To see how the video will look see the sample above. This is only a sample and may look different from your final piece.
- If you want a simpler way try Microsoft Plus! Photo Story 2 LE
- Make sure you drag the pictures to the bottom of the screen and make sure the music is underneath the pictures otherwise you will have pictures coming with no music and then music with no pictures.
Step1
The first thing is making sure you have the software. For this article I used Windows Movie Maker but you can also use Microsoft Plus!Photo Story 2 Le.
Step2
Next gather all your picture files and put them in one place so it's easy to for you to find them when you are ready to add them to your slideshow.
Step3
When you open the application on the left hand side you will see three numbered headings with bullets underneath. On the right side you will see the pictures as you put them in and a small video window which you play, pause, stop, rew,and ff.On the bottom you will see a timeline where all the pictures and audio/music files are shown.
Step4
The first step (Capture video) tells you what you want to import. In this case is pictures and music.
Step5
Once you import the pictures and music, drag down to the timeline so they are displayed in the bottom. Make sure the music is right underneath the pictures so that they both come on together.
Step6
The second step (Edit video) tells what video effects if any you want to add for example you can make the pictures dissolve into nothing or have it fade in and out. You can also add a title.
Step7
The last step (Finish Movie)tells you how you want to save it whether you want it on your computer, by email, CD, to the web or to a dv camera.
