A casino party can be a fun way to entertain friends. Some even use the casino party as a way to help raise funds for a charity. However, the last thing you want is to be left holding thousands of chips that you can’t redeem for anything.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Calculator

Step1
Get a reliable count on the amount of people that will be attending the event. Then for every hundred that you expect, add ten to make sure no one is left out.
Step2
Devise a denomination scale. For example, you can have hundred dollar, twenty-five, and five chips.
Step3
Decide how much money each guest will have to gamble. At a charity event, you can ask guests to RSVP with how much they will be donating and then match the donation with play chips.
Step4
Buy four twenty-five dollar chips for every hundred-dollar chip you buy. This will guarantee you’re not left without change.
Step5
Buy five five-dollar chips for every twenty-five dollar chips you’ve purchased. Again, you will now have change for every chip.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have dealers change players chips for the types of chips you need if there's any shortage. For example, if you're running low on hundreds and you see a player with lots of hundred-dollar chips and no smaller ones, ask to change some of the player's chips to twenty-five dollar chips.
  • Raise the table limit's later in the night to filter some chips back into the house.
  • After the party, auction the leftover chips on eBay.
