Things You'll Need:
- Flying disc
- Four visible, movable objects.
-
Step 1
Here's what a goal might look likeThe Set-up: Take the four objects (cones, sneakers, water bottles, extra frisbees or discs, any group of things will do as long as they won't roll away or otherwise move on their own) and arrange them into a square that is about 2 feet long on each side. This is the goal.
-
Step 2
The Game: The game is played with two teams of an undefined but equal number of people and one frisbee. Generally a lower number (2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3, 4 vs. 4) of participants is best. One team (the offense) has the frisbee and attempts to pass it among themselves until one member catches the frisbee while maintaining a point of contact inside the box. The result of this event is a goal. The other team (the defense) tries to keep the offense from catching the frisbee inside the box without making intentional contact with offensive players. After a goal is scored, a make-it-take-it principle is followed with that team remaining on offense until the disc changes possession or the game is won.
-
Step 3
Change of Possession: Each team will play both offense and defense. The defense becomes the offense following a change of possession resulting from the offensive team throwing a pass that is dropped or otherwise not completed, or because an offensive player holds onto the disc for more than five seconds. Following each reception a defensive player must count 1,2,3,4,5 in order to obtain a stall.
-
Step 4
The Win: The game is played to a predetermined score that should be agreed upon before the game starts.
