How to Decorate a TShirt Using Bleach

Cool, fun and definitely unique ~ this art project can be done for groups of children, or just at home having a little fun.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Colored t-shirt
• Bleach pen
• Template of some kind
• Large piece of tin foil

1. Take the colored t-shirt and insert a large piece of tin foil inside it, large enough to cover the area you want to decorate.

2. Place your template such as a star, geometric shapes, letters, etc on top of the shirt. Use SMALL quantities of the bleach from the bleach pen to color in the design.

3. Leave in the sun to dry for at least 1 hour. Rinse before first usage. Wash separately the first time.

Tips & Warnings

• Less is more! The more you put on, the more potential you have of ruining your design and eating a hole through your shirt. Be sparing with the bleach.
• Dry flat in the sun.
• Adult supervision required.
