How to turn mushy brown, over ripe bananas into delicious banana bread!

You know how bananas tend to ripen fast and get ugly brown patches and are too soft to eat. That's when bananas are their sweetest & at their best flavor for banana bread!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. margarine or butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. (3-4) mashed ripe brown bananas
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. macadamia nuts
Step1
First preheat oven to 350 degress. Grease the bottom of a loaf pan. Add dry ingredients together: 1 2/3 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking powder

Next add wet ingredients together and mix till blended: 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. margarine or butter, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. water.
Step3
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and hand stir till moist. Then add mashed bananas, raisins, & nuts and handstir to mix till moist. Bake for about 55-60 min. 9 inch loaf pan/ 75 min. for 8 inch loaf pan.
When you start to smell the bread, it is done. Insert toothpick and if it comes out clean, remove from oven and cool. Infallibly delicious!
