Weddings with a Bridezilla involved are almost never easy to deal with. Here's how to cope!

Weddings are almost never easy, especially not if you're dealing with Bridezilla! with a few coping techniques, you can come through even the most evil of Bridezillas with your sanity, and hopefully without telling the bride just where she gets off!

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Zen Garden
  • Patience!
  • good organizational skills
  1. Step 1

First and foremost.. RELAX. This is not your wedding, nor does the success of this day rest solely on your shoulders. Remind yourself why you're there: You love the bride, and are happy that she's getting married. Realize that she is *stressed*, and will probably not realize that she's being evil until sometime during her honeymoon.

  2. Step 2

Be organized. If you have all your ducks in a row, you're not going to give the bride much room to snarl. Let what she says to others or about others in your hearing roll off your back. Don't take it personally, and you'll be able to deal with much more than you though. Having all the answers you possibly can makes your life (on the big day) and your friend's much easier!

  3. Step 3
Cheap and relaxing, they can sometimes be the perfect fix.

Cheap and relaxing, they can sometimes be the perfect fix.

Invest in a cheap relaxation technique like a zen garden. They're inexpensive and they work! Spend a few minutes each day leading up to the wedding using your garden to relax and gather your thoughts.

  4. Step 4

On the big day, remember that no matter what she's done, it is her big day. Do your best to support her, and remember, You can do anything for a few hours!

Tips & Warnings
  • Take time for you! Yes, the bride is the bride and important and all that, but you need time for yourself before and after the wedding to keep from going insane!
  • DON'T EVER take verbal abuse. It damages your self esteem and leads to resentment later. Simply walk away, or say in a calm voice, "I think we need a short break from each other, I'll be back soon." and either go take care of a detail for the wedding, or go punch a pillow to relieve stress.
