Step1
Observe the Physique
A stocky, barrel-chested guy or well-built, fleshy woman could be a Taurus. You’ll also find ample flesh on Cancers and Scorpios (unless they’re martial arts champions). An athletic physique often belongs to Aries, Leo and Sagittarius—fire signs who love the outdoors. Capricorns have ramrod straight posture, Geminis are thin-boned and nimble.
Step2
Look at Hair, Eyes and Lips
Librans always have serene, beautiful eyes—often light blue. Leos are known for their wild, wavy mane of hair. Aries and Gemini often have sharp, pointed features. You’ll spot Taurus and Cancer through their full, sensual lips. Sagittarians sport a distinctive profile—often resembling their animal, the horse. Pisces and Cancer are dreamy-eyed.
Step3
Check Out Clothes
The edgiest outfits usually belong to experimental Gemini and Aquarius. You’ll see sporty looks on Aries and Sagittarius, earthy peasant outfits on Virgo, “rich” looks on Taurus and elegant but fun attire on Leo, perfectly coordinated colors on Libra, dark, mysterious garb on Scorpio and gorgeous, up-to-the-minute shoes on Pisces.
Step4
Study Mannerisms
Leos gesture with their hands, and Geminis talk a mile a minute. Aries is always butting into conversations, Taurus can charm with a mere look, Cancer is shy—until they’ve had a drink or two! Virgo is serious and intent, trying to analyze your problems. Libra is a social butterfly, Scorpio broods, Sagittarius tells jokes, Capricorn gives orders, Aquarius talks about the latest thing, and Pisces just wants to drink and dance.
Step5
Make Your Best Guess
Tally up the scores in your head—that outgoing woman with the wild red curls and elegant outfit is surely a Leo! Or, the charming, broad-chested man paying all the ladies compliments must be a Taurus. Once you’re fairly certain, ask if you’re correct. If you’re wrong, you can always say in a breezy manner, “Well, it’s probably your rising sign!”
