How to Win On The Amazing Race

As teams dash around the world, immersing themselves in different cultures, competing in The Amazing Race, they are certainly gaining a lifetime of experiences, but they are also in the hunt for the big money prize at the end. Only one team will make it each race. If you're in it for the cash and not just the experience of it all, here's how to do it right.

• Warm Weather Clothes
• Cool Weather Clothes

1. Knowing as many languages as you possibly can would certainly be helpful, but if you're going to learn just one, learn Spanish.
2. Familiarize yourselves with driving a stick shift vehicle. You can never be too sure what type of vehicle you'll be driving on each different leg of the race.
3. Train as much physically as you can beforehand, as you can last a while based on others' mistakes, but to get to the end, you have to be fit.
4. Pack light; you'll be carrying it everywhere.
5. Respect each other's place in the team, whether you're the driver or navigator. Both are tough responsibilities.
6. Read each clue thoroughly; teams have been eliminated after misreading the instructions.

• Watch your money closely; the show producers give you a certain amount of cash per leg for a reason.
• Be wary of making alliances. They can be helpful, but they can also hurt you.
