Things You'll Need:
- Scrapbook
- Gluestick
- Assorted pens, labels, fun additions from a craft store
- a box of vacation memories
-
Step 1
On vacation, know what to save for a scrapbook. Ticket stubs, menus, postcards and dried flowers all make great additions to your photos. Also, keep a journal of dates and names of people and restaurants you encounter during your travels. It will he invaluable when you caption your photos!
-
Step 2
Next, plan your scrapbook to run from beginning to end, so it reads like a story and isn't a mash up of odds and ends that make no sense. Scrapbooks with a storyline have a nicer look and feel.
-
Step 3
Take your time. Glue things down carefully, write neatly, and use care when placing your photos. Craft stores like Paper Source have lots of embellishments, ribbons and doo dads to add style and flair to your project. You can photocopy and reduce things like menus or brochures if they are too big or thick for your scrapbook.
-
Step 4
Have fun and be creative! Beautiful scrapbooks are a wonderful way to preserve fond memories of your travel, and reduce clutter too!
