Margaritas are one of the most popular mixed drinks in America; in fact, they are so popular, there's even a National Margarita Day: February 22. While February might not be the ideal time for frozen treats, a frozen margarita can be refreshing at any time of year. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 6 ounces limeade
  • 1/3 cup triple sec
  • 2/3 cup tequila
  • Ice
  • Blender
  • Glasses

Instructions

      Put the limeade, triple sec and tequila into the blender.

      Fill the blender three-quarters full of ice. Blend until slushy. Continue adding more ice and blending if needed. The more ice you add, the less potent the drink.

      Rub lime around the rim of the glasses and dip them in bar salt.

    • 4

      Fill the glasses with the margarita mix. Serve immediately.
