Watching what your Dog eats? Make these simple Treats to make him Howl. Go organic to really control the Ingredients.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 Tablespoon Honey
  • 2 Tablespoon Molasses
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven 350.

  2. Step 2

    Mix all ingredients together in large bowl *** except Wheat flour. Add wheat flour to mixture 1/2 cup at a time.

    Dough should stick together but not to your hands. If still sticky add Wheat flour a handful at a time.

    * Place dough on flat surface and roll out to 1/3 inch thickness. Wheat flour on surface and roll may be needed as not to stick. A piece of wax paper or silicone sheet can be laid out before rolling dough out for easy cleanup. Cut dough with Cookie Cutters. Holiday cookie cutters make it fun.

    Makes up to 2 dozen or more depending on size of treats

    * Place treats on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 40 minutes. Cookies will slide off cookie sheet when done.

    * Let treats cool. Treats are perishable and need to be refrigerated to keep fresh.

Tips & Warnings
  • According to the AKC 49% of pet owners want to dress their pets for the holidays. 1 out of 10 will dress their pet. This is a great project for children and treats to have on hand for the 4 legged trick-or-treaters.
  • Keep in mind the size of your pet. Know your pet allergies if any.
