There is nothing more annoying than sitting down to dinner at a table that wobbles! It is worse if the chair wobbles too! This easy solution can even be carried in your purse for a quick fix in restaurants.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cork
  • Knife
  • Ruler
  1. Step 1

Using your ruler, measure the amount of thickness needed to adjust the height of the table/chair leg that is too short!

  2. Step 2

Take a cork from an old wine bottle and using a serrated knife saw a circle a little larger than the required measurement. Remember the cork will compress so you don't want to cut it too short.

  3. Step 3

Slide the cork circle under the leg that is being adjusted. If the leg still wobbles, remove the cork and use it as a guide to cut a slightly larger cork.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cut a few corks and stash them in your purse for a quick fix in restaurants.
