      Subscribe to a word-of-the-day (WOTD) listing. Dictionary.com and Merriam-Webster are two of the best. They provide examples of the word's usage, etymology and pronunciation.

      Sign up for a Blogger account at http://www.blogger.com. Once that is done, you are ready to start blogging your Words. This is where you will be conducting all of your word exercises.

      Each day, after receiving your WOTD, create a posting on Blogger with original content describing the word. You can choose to write a story based on the meaning of the word. Or simply a few sentences explaining the word's clear and concise meaning.

      Make sure you are able to understand the meaning of the word as you re-read the whole posting. Write a few more paragraphs if you don't think you'll be able to recall the meaning of the word a month from then.

      If your blog has matured by a month, follow the step above and re-read the heading of the posting from a month ago. See if you are able to describe the word successfully without reading the whole posting.
