Newspaper
Elmer's glue
Water
Blender

Step1

Making paper clay is really easy.

Blend ripped up pieces of newspaper, glue and water in blender until thick.

Step2

Gradually add to sculpture you are working on. It helps to start with newspaper strips soaked in the glue-water mixture until you get a base to work on. Switch to the paper-clay to fine tune your project.

Step3

Once dried, the whole project can even be lightly sanded if you want it to be smooth before painting.

You can even make huge dinosaurs using this method. Start with a wood and wire base, overlaid with the newspaper strips and then finish it with the paper-clay.
