How to Reduce the Appearance of Cellulite

Reducing the cellulite is easy, but it does take some time and patience. Stick with it!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • stiff-bristle brush
  • Castor oil
  • Old pyjamas that you don't care about anymore
  • filtered water

Step1
Start drinking a lot of water - I mean a lot! At least 10 8oz glasses of filtered water daily. If we're going to get rid of that cellulite and the toxins stored in it we need to give your body a way to push it out.
Step2
Skin brush every time you get in the shower. Vigorously brush your skin over the areas with cellulite for at least 5 minutes per area (so 5 minutes per thigh) every time you get in the shower. Brushing should be hard enough to make the skin pink, but not to hurt or leave scratches. This helps to bring blood flow to the area and allows your body to reintroduce circulation to places it's been neglecting.
Step3
Once a week put a generous layer of castor oil on the skin over the parts you are working on, put the old PJs on that you don't care about and go to sleep like that. This helps to increase your lymphatic drainage and get rid of trapped toxins!
Step4
Exercise at least 15 minutes a day - enough to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing, even if it's just 15 minutes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't get discouraged - change takes a while, but this will help you lose weight too!
  • Best results can be seen after about 3 months of treatment.
  • The old PJs are just so that your sheets don't get dirty - there is no magic or mystery there.
  • Check with your doctor before starting any kind of exercise program to make sure that it's ok!
  • Castor oil should not be taken internally except under the direct advice of a physician.
