Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Remove the hanging loop that secures each ornament. Put a drop of hot glue on it and place it back on the ornament.

  2. Step 2

Thread a ribbon through the ornament loop. Repeat this until you have enough ornaments on the ribbon to string all the way around the vase.

  3. Step 3

Dab drops of hot glue around the vase to secure the ornaments and ribbon to the vase. Attach the ribbon tightly around the vase.

  4. Step 4

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you cover the vase from top to bottom. Layer the ornaments covering the top rim of the vase to a point 1 inch from the base.

  5. Step 5

Make a new vase when the season changes. Use ornaments and small trinkets that reflect the theme of the season, such as crystals and small beads. Select ribbon that matches the seasonal theme.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use small Christmas bulbs. Larger bulbs will make the vase look too bulky and won't cover as well.
  • Add more shimmer with pieces of tinsel or small garland strands. Just hot glue them wherever you want to put them on the vase.
  • Make sure the bottom layer of ornaments isn't past the base of the vase, or it won't sit properly on the table.
