If you want to make sure that you don't miss a new eBay auction listing from your favorite sellers, you can sign up to receive email alerts. This way, eBay will email you a couple of times each week with a list of your favorite seller's new items.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Log into your eBay account and go to your "My eBay" page. Click on "Sellers" under the "Favorites" category on the left side of the page.
Step2
Locate the favorite seller that you want to receive email alerts from. Click "Edit Preferences" to the right of the seller's name.
Step3
Check the box that says "Subscribe here to receive email summary."
Step4
Add a note to yourself about the seller if you wish. No one will be able to see this note but you. This is a good place to write why this person is your favorite seller, such as "great selection of antique dolls."
Step5
Click the "Save" button and your preferences will be updated. You will start receiving email alerts of your favorite seller's new item listings.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you decide you no longer wish to receive email alerts of a favorite seller's new items, you can unsubscribe to the service the same way you subscribed. Just uncheck the box "Subscribe here to receive email summary."
  • You can also sign up to receive email alerts from a favorite seller when you are adding that person to your Favorite Seller's list. You can add a seller to your favorite's list on any of their auction listing pages. While viewing their auction click on the link on the right side of the page that says "Add to Favorite Sellers." The next page will ask you if you wish to receive email alerts on this seller.
