Baseball may seem like another boring sport, but to watch it with your boyfriend you will need to appreciate certain aspects of the game. It means more than just going to or watching games with him; it also means putting in some effort to enjoy it to some degree.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Learn the basic rules. Each team consists of 9 players, they alternate turns at bat, and the home team bats last. An inning consists of each team taking a turn to bat, and there are normally 9 innings to a game.

  2. Step 2

Ask questions before or after the game. Boys will be boys, and if they are especially excited about the game they won't hear you even if you have an intelligent question during the game. And try to make all questions somewhat intelligent for your sake.

  3. Step 3

Get excited about the team. Remember that most guys watch a certain team because they have had a stake in that team for awhile. In order to take part and watch baseball, you will have to try and understand which team(s) your boyfriend likes and why.

  4. Step 4

Know the stories. Baseball is about more than just playing the game and winning. There are rivals that go back decades, and each team has a history and a story that you should know before you start to watch with your baseball-fanatic boyfriend.

  5. Step 5

Wear the fan stuff. Put on anything team related that he gives you. If he gets you a team hat, even if you hate hats, you must wear it occasionally while watching the game.
