Get French phrase books from the library and take the kids for a walk around town and practice phrases as you come across a situation. Examples can be saying hello or goodbye.

Write down the French names of things around the house. As you and the kids walk throughout the house, remember to say each object in French. It will teach their brains to remember basic objects and things people use daily like 'fridge' or 'sink'.

Create flash cards on index card for the kids. Put their main language on the front of each card and ask them to translate them. Put the French translation on the back for correcting. On each flash card, write the French pronunciation underneath each phrase so they will say it correctly.
