How to Learn Basic Greek in a Day

Learning another language is very important nowadays and being bilingual can open the door to many opportunities. You can learn basic Greek language skills in under 24 hours.

Instructions

1. Look online for tutorials and flash card programs for the Greek language. These programs can be listened to as you work on your computer. You can learn common Greek phrases that are used everyday conversations with people, such as greetings and salutations.

2. Get a basic Greek tape recording and listen to it over and over again. You will find that as you go over each word and say it out loud that you will learn the basics easily.

3. Create your own flash cards and read them out to yourself. On each flashcard, write the pronunciation underneath each phrase so you will say it correctly.

4. Write down the Greek names of items around the house. As you walk throughout the house, always remember to say each object. This repetition will help your brain to remember basic objects and things people use daily like 'fridge' or 'sink'.

5. Get a Greek phrase book from the local library. Then walk around town practicing phrases as you come across a situation, like saying hello or goodbye. Practice, practice, practice!
