Treat Gallstones Naturally

Having gallstones is a painful and inconvenient experience. The gallbladder secretes and stores the bile that helps digest fats, but sometimes the bile hardens into stones. Many people undergo surgery to have the gallbladder removed. However, there are natural methods to treat your gallstones.

Instructions

    • 1

Drink fresh vegetable and fruit juices immediately after a gallstone attack to reduce inflammation and let your digestive organs rest.

    • 2

Administer an inner cleansing after an attack. Berberis, hepatica and cardus can be taken in low doses.

    • 3

Administer an olive oil and lemon cleanse. The day of the cleanse, fast and stop drinking fluids by 6 p.m. Use 4 tbsp. olive oil followed by 2 tbsp. of lemon juice and repeat every 15 minutes for 3 hours. Lay down on your right side and relax in between. Drink tomato juice if you feel nauseated. Sleep that night and rest as much as possible the next day.

    • 4

Take magnesium phosphate for spasms. A low-dose of celloid mineral will also work.

    • 5

Use iron phosphate to reduce the inflammation of the gallbladder.

    • 6

Increase fiber in the diet and lower fat intake, especially from fried foods, to prevent and minimize gall stone formation.

Tips & Warnings

  • Seek medical attention to diagnose gallstones initially even if you plan to try natural methods. Liver and pancreas problems, especially pancreatitis, can be life threatening.

  • Seek out a holistic professional before beginning any regimen.
