Instructions

Step 1

Find the latest version of Vcleaner that's available to download so that you know it offers the updated databases required to catch the latest viruses. To do this, go to a reputable software download website (see Resources below) and search for "AVG Vcleaner."
Step 2

Click the "Vcleaner" link that appears within the search results.
Step 3

Click the "Download" button.
Step 4

Choose a download location for Vcleaner by clicking on one of the links.
Step 5

Click "Save File" when a pop-up appears that says "Would you like to save this file?"
Step 6

Choose the download location if a pop-up gives you the option. This generally occurs if you're using Internet Explorer. If you're using Mozilla Firefox, the file will download to your desktop automatically. No further action is required until you wish to run the software.
