Step 1
Make a ground cover for a sleeping bag. Place the sleeping bag atop two layers of aluminum foil to act as a moisture barrier.
-
Step 2
Fashion a frying pan with a forked branch and aluminum foil. Center a sturdy forked stick over three layers of foil, the edges of which extend 3 to 4 inches beyond either side of the branches. Roll the excess foil onto the branches of the fork.
-
Step 3
Step up outdoor lighting with aluminum foil. Position a square of foil behind the light. Secure with duct tape or electrical tape. Don't attach the tape directly to the bulb. Turn on the light.
-
Step 4
Shape a disposable drip pan for the barbecue grill from three sheets of heavy-duty foil. Invert a baking pan to use as a mold or shape it freehand so that the drip pan is larger than the space taken up by the meat on the grill.
-
Step 5
Cover a piece of cardboard with one or two layers of heavy-duty foil to create a platter for church picnics or campouts. Dispose of the platter after the meal.
-
Step 6
Keep kitchen matches dry on a camping trip. Wrap them in aluminum foil.
