Sending your child off to school will inevitably end in minor injuries occurring away from home. Prepare your child for life's little mishaps by packing a small first aid kit in their backpack. A school bag first aid kit is perfect for your child to treat minor cuts and scrapes.

Instructions
-
-
1
Purchase all of the items needed for the first aid kit. Include any items that might come in handy for your child, like an eyeglass repair kit.
-
2
Use a medium sized bandage as a template to draw a bandage shape on the felt. Cut out the felt bandage.
-
-
3
Use puffy paint to decorate the felt bandage. Draw on the mouth. Attach the googly eyes and a small pom pom for the nose.
-
4
Set the felt bandage aside, and let the glue and paint dry. Peel the back off of the felt, when everything is dry, and attach it to the top of the soap dish.
-
5
Cut an index card so that it fits inside of the container. Print your child's name, address and contact phone numbers on the card. Glue the card on the inside of the lid.
-
6
Fill the box with all of the supplies. Put the first aid kit inside a small pocket in your child's school bag.

Most items on the list appear to be harmless, but keep in mind that some schools have zero-tolerance policies. That means that the nail clippers could potentially be considered a weapon. And no, I'm not kidding. A first-grader in Ohio was suspended for having a plastic knife in his book bag. -
