Floorball is a popular sport in Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. It's gaining popularity in Norway and Czech Republic, too. Floorball is played indoors with a 6 person team, using carbon or composite sticks with a plastic vented blade. The goal is to get the plastic ball into the opponent's goal. The World Floorball Championships are played on alternate years. Men play in even years and women play in odd years.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Find out where the Floorball World Championship will be held. The location varies for each set of games. Sazka Arena in Prague, Czech Republic is the home of the 2008 WFC. The arena holds 18,000 spectators.
Step2
Consider volunteering. The World Floorball Championship welcomes all interested people. In exchange for helping out, you get a place to stay, food, tickets to the games and a ticket to the after party.
