If you like playing poker and want to play online, use PartyPoker. It provides you the option to play for real money or just for fun and it is an easy site to navigate. If you are a true pro you might even make it to the World Series of Poker. Here are a few easy steps for entering a tournament.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Download the software from the PartyPoker website. Create your login information with your name, address, phone number, username and password.

  2. Step 2

Determine whether to use real or play money. Use the directions on the site for depositing real money by using a credit card, money order or cashier's check, or use one of several online money transfer websites. PartyPoker provides an amount of play money to start, if you choose to go that route.

  3. Step 3

Enter the main lobby of the website. Decide the type of gaming tournament to play. After choosing a game such as Seven Card Stud, Razz, Horse, Omaha, or the most popular Texas Hold 'em, click on the tab that says "Tournaments."

  4. Step 4

Click on the tab of the tournament type to play. The following are a few choices--regular, qualifiers, events, freerolls or special. New games begin every few seconds with varying entry amounts.

  5. Step 5

Pick a game to play in and click on your selection. The site asks you to register for that particular tournament and the money is automatically withdrawn from your account. The option to withdraw from the event is provided until the game begins.

  6. Step 6

Begin the tournament. Once you begin the tournament if you withdraw you will forfeit your entry fee.
