If you like karaoke, then you will be pleased to hear that the Nintendo Wii is now offering a karaoke-based game called Boogie. Boogie may be the first karaoke title from Wii, but additional karaoke games are expected to be released.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Purchase the Boogie game. You can find it online or buy it from a local video game store. You don't need to purchase additional accessories to sing karaoke on the Wii; the microphone is included with the game.
Step2
Choose your Boogie character. There are five different characters and they each have a separate storyline. As you go through the storyline, you use the Wii remote to dance and the mic to sing karaoke.
Step3
Skip the storyline mode and choose to sing the songs available from the main menu. Songs included on Boogie are "ABC," "Fergalicious," "Don't Cha" and several other popular karaoke choices. You can make your own music video with your own voice providing the soundtrack.
Step4
Read the lyrics that go across the screen. This is how you know the words. Keep an eye on the cursor to see if you are staying in pitch with the song that is playing.
Step5
Stay in pitch with the song to earn points. It is OK to miss a few of the words; the game is more concerned with the player hitting the proper notes.

Tips & Warnings

  • As you complete more chapters in the storyline mode, more songs are unlocked.
  • Wii is expected to release another karaoke themed game based around the popular "High School Musical" movie.
